Undergraduate student David Huang presented his summer project at the UB REU symposium.

The National Science Foundation REU Site at the University at Buffalo trains undergraduate researchers to address regional and global pollution concerns within three themes: detection, source control, and remediation. David is the third undergraduate student whom Dr. Zhu has advised since summer 2017. David's project was to develop better models to aid in management decisions (i.e. beach closure) of the Woodlawn Beach, Buffalo, New York.
